Digital Marketing Training for Kota Belud Tourism Association (KOBETA)

The Kota Belud Tourism Association or KOBETA requested a digital marketing training workshop for their community. STB did a collaboration with Hello Sabah of Sri Pelancongan Sabah to conduct the training. The objectives of the training are to help rural communities get the right digital marketing skills and promote rural tourism through digitalization to be able to transform into world-class rural tourism destinations by 2025 and beyond.

A total of 23 participants attended the training. Most of the participants were product owners and ninety percent of them already have a product account on social media. The training was conducted for the participants on how to make their own business email, Instagram (IG), and Facebook (FB). They were also briefed on how to write good content as well as basic photography using handphones on their social media. Apart from social media marketing, the hellosabah e-booking platform was also introduced to help the rural community in terms of marketing and sales. This will enable the product owners to derive sales similar to booking.com, agoda.com, or any other e-booking platform that is available. We received positive feedback from KOBETA and they are looking forward to the next training in the future.
