The Sabah Tourism Board successfully organized the closing ceremony for Minggu Integriti Kementerian 2024. The Integrity Week was a collaborative effort involving all agencies under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Environment.

This initiative, spearheaded by BIGoNS (Badan Integriti dan Governans Negeri Sabah), aimed to foster a culture of integrity within the ministry while enhancing awareness and understanding of integrity-related practices and principles.

Key Highlight:

1. Collaboration with Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah (JKNS) in supporting the Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat. This partnership underscored the ministry’s commitment to promoting integrity and the well-being of its staff.
2. Collaboration with Sabah Parks in sports and games such as Coconut Bowling and Chain Sarong. These activities fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and a spirit of togetherness among participants, aligning with the event’s objective of building a harmonious and integrity-driven community.
3. The event also featured the presentation of prizes to winners of competitions held throughout the ministry’s Integrity Week. These included the Integrity Song Choir Video Competition and the Repository Competition, which showcased creativity, teamwork, and a deep understanding of integrity values among participants.

Achievement & Impact:

The event successfully achieved the objectives of the Minggu Integriti Kementerian (MIK). The program positively impacted officers from all service groups, fostering a deeper understanding of integrity and strengthening teamwork.

The program’s effectiveness was evident through the active cooperation and participation of all staff and the invaluable support from departments such as Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah (JKNS) and Badan Integriti dan Governans Negeri Sabah (BIGoNS). This collective effort underscored the ministry’s commitment to promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.
